Our SCI team is at the core of our success and our interns are an integral part of building the technology and systems powering our machine learning models and financial products. Interns join us for a period of 3 months on average and work on a variety of timely projects and problems that have a direct impact on the development of our business. Where is your hometown?
Jammu and Kashmir, India.
I discovered SCI by a stroke of luck . Our Tech and Media club at ESADE had posted a request from SCI for interns, which led to a meeting with Nick Woelfel, Spain Country Manager and then Todd Flores, the CEO & founder.
What is your role in the internship and what have you been learning thus far?
My role in the internship is to work with our XBRL and finance expert, Michelle Rojo, and our Capstone project team, that has data analytics and technological functions. A lot of my role involves structuring the process design and providing support to the team functions throughout the technical development process, while staying cognizant of implications in potential integrations. It has been an exciting curve that involved learning about XBRL, contemporary industry standards for the financial landscape and technological gaps and the potential of solutions.
What has been your favorite part of the internship?
I have had the opportunity to work with so many talented and bright individuals during my time at Spartan Capital Intelligence and that has definitely been an invaluable experience. My favorite part of the internship is hard to pick, since the ride is so interesting.
Who is one person that inspires you to be the best version of yourself?
Since it takes a village, it is hard to not acknowledge both, Michelle Rojo and Nick Woelfel, who play a great role in shaping the team and the carrying it forward everyday. It is especially inspiring and encouraging to work with Nick's vision and Michelle's expertise, as they challenge and push us to do better everyday.
What are your long-term (10+ years) and short-term (< 5 years) career goals?
I have always been in love with technology and coming to ESADE I have developed a keen interest in recognizing and solving interesting business problems. My short term and long term career goals both involve solving challenging problems and bridging gaps with innovative technological solutions. Spartan Capital Intelligence is indeed the right opportunity for me to be able to do that.
